ABOUT ME

For as long as I can remember I have been interested in beautiful fabrics and interiors, and have always had a heap of fabric samples on the go for potential projects (or just dream projects). I still do!

I started my working life as an Events Manager at Barclays. I absolutely loved my job, which required fantastic organisational skills, client liaison, diplomacy and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Every event was different and I loved the variety and creativity. However, after a few years’ career break while my three boys were very young, I decided to pursue my passion for fabrics and interiors and I took an intensive course learning to design and make beautiful curtains and roman blinds, using traditional, classic methods.

HOW I WORK

Our homes reflect who we are, our story and our lifestyle. So much personality can be injected into a home with a few well-chosen and good quality fabrics. It can be a daunting task choosing fabrics and bringing together a scheme, especially if you are faced with a blank canvas. I bridge the gap between hiring an interior designer and employing a curtain maker. I understand that good quality curtains and roman blinds are an investment and I know how important it is to make choices that you will be happy with for many years to come. I visit my clients in their homes to measure up, bringing with me a selection of fabric books and hand crafted poles and trimmings to browse through. I can then discuss and suggest fabric ideas, and recommend ways of creating a completely bespoke and unique scheme.

All of my products are meticulously designed and hand made to order in my Hampshire workroom. Once completed, I will fit and dress your curtains and/or roman blinds in your home so that they hang beautifully.

Every project is different and unique – if you think that we could work together, please contact me here to discuss your project and ideas.
